Dear...
I would like to express our deep felt
appreciation to Curtis Total Service, Inc. This past
week after nursing our heating system along for a couple of
years it gave out. We called Curtis, like we always
have, and a repairman was sent out immediately.
We were told our system had become a fire hazard and had to
be disconnected. We were devastated.
This last year my husband developed
serious heart problems which required us to go to
Philadelphia for his treatment. The cost was
astronomical and completely crushed us financially.
When the repairman explained to us it
could cost 5-6 thousand dollars for a replacement I couldn't
stop my tears. My husband and I knew we would not be
able to take on such an expense at this time. That
meant no heat!
We had dealt with Rich, the manager, from
the Allentown office previously, and his kindness was always
outstanding. We decided to give him a call and explain
our situation. Within an hour Rich and Curtis was in
our home with heaters and kindness in their hearts.
Curtis explained to us that each year
when a family is facing financial hardships a heating system
is donated to them. We are now receiving a new heat
pump system, including all labor and any extra cost that may
occur.
Words can never convey our deep thanks to
Curtis and the staff at Curtis Total Service. Thank

Dear Mr. Curtis
My Husband and I want to thank you and the two work-men who
fixed our kitchen sink drain. When I called after your first
visit the sink was still clogged. I was frustrated and
concerned about cost and no solution to the problem.
You listened and promised to call back. About 30
minutes later you did return my call with an offer to cut
out the clogged pipe and replace it. The additional
price given was a fair one.
By 2:30 the next day the drain was open!
My husband had nothing but praise for the workmen and the
job they did.

Dear Sirs,
This note is coming to you because Joe and I wanted to make
certain that you were aware of just how impressed we were
with the standard of service and care that Mr. Angel Berrios
and Jeff Weaver gave while working at our house on our well
pump on June 1st and June 2nd. We feel it's important
to give recognition for an outstanding job performance (I
personally asked Angel to give me your names so the note
could be directed to the proper location.
In our minds, both men went above and beyond our
expectations in their efforts to have our water turned back
on and available to us as soon as possible. Yes, they
were inundated with problem after problem because we have a
very old system that hadn't been worked on for many, many
years but they were tenacious in their efforts to succeed.
And of course, succeed they did after hours and hours of
very hard work! They were exemplary in their efforts
to be pleasant, polite and hard working as well as giving
excellent customer service. Jeff had actually worked
on another job in our home a few months ago and I intended
to write at that time as well but as often happens, time
slipped away without my sitting down to get that note
written...so I made absolutely certain to get it done this
time around!
We want you to know that we feel that you have two very
valued employees and because of their performance, we will
certainly be recommending Curtis Total Service to anyone in
need of any and all the services your company provides.

Service: The company for all seasons and for all
reasons.
It was our unexpected benefit to have discovered Curtis
Total Service. We initially desired a stand-by
generator for our home here in the Pennsylvania Hills.
It was a debate between Home Depot and anyone else in the
yellow pages. Home Depot proved to be a more detached,
pass-on-to-someone-else operation when it came to home
improvement service. From the onset, a Curtis
Representative personally came to our home, and, at our
kitchen table, discussed our particular needs, without a
hint of high pressure sales tactics. Jerry was most
convivial, suggestive, and completely helpful with this
particular project. As a result we had Curtis install
the generator. In addition, Jerry made every effort to
obtain the generator company's discount incentives which
certainly pleased us financially.
Based on this one completely positive experience, we decided
to replace our two, 25 year old HVAC units with more
technologically advanced ones... with Curtis. Again,
this seemingly complicated process was brought into a
manageable focus by the Curtis Team. The installation
technicians were more like friends in their ability to
explain the work involved as they were doing it, and stood
by until the last detail of the process was finished to our
satisfaction. They were even cordial enough to return
when we had questions, and fix a minor manufacturer's defect
in a piece of equipment. That's Curtis...
Curtis stands by its fine work and its
ability to achieve complete customer satisfaction.
We can honestly say that in our years of experience in
needing contractor help with home improvement projects, we
have never encountered the high quality of the "Curtis
Promise:" the promise to professionally execute the
particular job, insure its satisfactory completion, and
stand by the results of their work.
We are now in the process of replacing all
of our 30 year old double-paned windows... without a doubt,
with Curtis... and the Curtis promise. Yes, in our

kitchen. It is everything I had hoped for and more.
I enjoyed working with you and all of your staff as we made
this journey together. The little details and

This is not an easy project to live with, but everyone made

In the last three years since moving into my house, I have
family members nicknaming me "Noah" because of the
unfortunate number of water related problems my family has
had. We had two pipes break in our ceiling, a water
heater failed, two acid neutralizers and a water softener
failed, two sump pumps failed (resulting in basement floods
each time), a well pump needing new cabling after failing, a
well tank failed and 3 copper pipe needed to be replaced.
Again, in less than three years.
The first two time we had an incident, we did like everyone
else probably, and called a local plumber who charged us
enough that we considered taking out a second mortgage to
pay for the service. Our third issue was when we gave
a company called Curtis Total Service, Inc a try. This
was a great decision because they came in and did extremely
thorough work leaving a personal cell phone number should
we have any other problems. As previously explained,
we had a number of additional problems and they were who we
counted on each time.
The folks from Curtis, from the dispatcher to the
supervisors never quit on us and always worked to make
things right no matter what it took nor how frustrating our
situations were. Their follow up was always timely and
thorough and their personal conduct in and around my home
were none other than professional, respectful and courteous.
I continue to wrestle with some plumbing issues which can be
expected from a 130 year old home and I expect to add
bathrooms and plumbing to additions as time goes on. I
feel confident and encouraged to know that there is a good,
honest and proficient company out there to handle my
plumbing and water system needs like Curtis and I would
recommend them to anyone.

We recently had a new central air/heat pump
and oil furnace installed at our house to replace units that
were 25+ years old. When the gentleman from Curtis Total
Service came to our house, we felt that he did a thorough
inspection of both systems as well as the duct work in the
house...he also took the time to ask us what our specific
complaints were about the units we were running at the time.
Two other companies had previously issued us estimates and
neither was at our house for more than 15-20 mins; they
simply looked at the units, verified that they needed to be
replaced, and slapped an estimate down on the
table...neither company even looked at the ducts or
evaluated the actual airflow patterns in our house the way
Curtis did, nor did they ask us what our current complaints
were or what our desired outcome would be with the
installation of a new system. When it came time to prepare
the estimate, the gentleman from Curtis offered us three
different options, explaining each in a way that we felt
good about making a decision we were comfortable with in
every way, including specifications of the systems
themselves as well as cost...at no time did we feel
pressured to make a decision that wasn't our own. During the
installation, the technicians were competent, clean, and
completed a rather large job in less time than they
anticipated, so we were very pleased with that phase of the
project as well. Since we've had our new central air unit
running for the past eight weeks since installation, we are
confident in saying that we love our new system! We've
experienced no problems and have been very pleased with the
cooling and comfort level as far as meeting our goals going
into the project. Overall, we were extremely impressed with
Curtis' level of knowledge, professionalism, timeliness, and
concern for the customer's level of satisfaction. We will
certainly use their services again and will encourage our
friends and family to do the same!

On Tuesday morning Mrs. Keinert called to inform us of the
great job Jeff did on 7/9/07. She told me Jeff
explained everything to her so that she could understand
what he was going to do. He was very patient when he
explained to them about the installation of a water
softener. He showed respect for an 80+ year old
person. He was very courteous to them.
He also took great care in the work that he did. He
was careful not to damage anything and cleaned up after the
work was done. She wanted to make sure that
Jeff and the management knew how much she appreciated such a
young person showing respect for another person's property.
Dennis O'Shea, You installed a Bradford White
75 Gallon Gas Water Heater on 7-11-07 and I would like to
express my thanks for the work you have completed in the
past month. In addition to service contract work on my
total home equipment, you repaired our roof and installed a
drainage system. The work and results have been
excellent. It was a difficult decision to
switch from a company that had provided our service for a
number of years, but your price and service rewarded our
decision. And, we are doubly glad to have John Schafer,
again, supporting our home.
June 28th, 2007 I don't usually write
letters, however, I do need to express how pleased I was
with your service. Jim was very courteous,
neat and efficient. He's a hard worker who explained
everything and is a great problem solver. I had
created a problem and unfortunately we needed to take the
expensive route but only after Jim exhausted all options.
Now when someone asks if I know a good plumber, with

Service, I would like to say thank you to
your plumber Jacob Eisenhardt. He did a great job.
I was amazed because this day and age when you get what you
want. All I can say is Wow. He was wonderful,
and my husband and I would just like to say thank you.
The job he did is a miracle and it has made our life so much
easier and to show the patience to come out on a Saturday
and fix our problem was like a blessing.
